Outdoors and Kids
Summer brings long days and evenings spent outside. Kids are outside going on adventures, climbing trees, camping, hiking, running, you name it.
It will only be a matter of time before they get a scrape, cut, blister or boo-boo that needs your attention. There are many items to choose from in your medicine cabinet.
Mine is full of natural alternatives that will work with your body to repair itself.
We like to grab Lavender for its antiseptic, antimicrobial, antifungal properties and Melaleuca for its antiseptic, antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral properties.
My kids have been using nature’s medicine long enough, they know what to grab and do it themselves unless a kiss from their Momma is needed.
Here is a DIY Recipe we use in our household: Owie Blend:
10mL glass rollerball bottle 30 drops Lavender 30 drops Melaleuca Fill the rest of the way up with fractioned coconut oil
Apply as needed
This is an easy way to have a remedy readily available for your family. It’s also easy to throw in your purse, in overnight bags, etc.
